This Highfield accredited course provides participants with the knowledge, understanding and skills in treating a casualty who is unresponsive but breathing and a casualty who is not breathing. Participants will learn how to provide CPR, use a defibrillator and place a casualty in to the recovery position.

Prerequisites: Learners must be able to kneel on the floor and complete several cycles of CPR using a manakin.
Assessment details
A 5 multiple choice question assessment to be completed at the end of the training in addition to practical demonstration assessments throughout the day.
