CompTIA Data+ is an early-career data analytics certification for professionals tasked with developing and promoting data-driven business decision-making.
The CompTIA Data+ exam will certify the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to transform business requirements in support of data-driven decisions through mining and manipulating data, applying basic statistical methods, and analysing complex datasets while adhering to governance and quality standards throughout the entire data life cycle. To attain the Data+ certification, learners will be required to pass a 90-minute online exam (maximum of 90 multiple choice and performance based questions)

The CompTIA Data+ provides the knowledge and skills required to support data-driven decisions through mining and manipulating data, applying basic statistical methods, and analysing complex datasets while adhering to governance and quality standards throughout the entire data life cycle.

Delivery Method: Self Study via E-Learning Platform

Learning Hours: Approximately 36 hours

Prerequisites: CompTIA recommends 18–24 months of experience in a report/business analyst job role, exposure to databases and analytical tools, a basic understanding of statistics, and data visualisation experience

Exam Details

Exam Voucher

You will receive an exam voucher to undertake the Data+ exam with Pearson Vue. The exam can be taken online or by registering to attend your nearest Pearson Vue testing centre (details available when booking with Pearson Vue)

CertMaster revision and test preparation

To prepare for your examination you will be provided access to the CompTia CertMaster platform which allows you to practice exam style questions and performance tasks and will provide insights into areas for review, revision and practice.

Exam

The exam is a combination of multiple choice and performance task based questions

A maximum of 90 questions to complete in 90 minutes

Pass mark is 675 out of a possible 900 marks
