This Highfield accredited course provides participants with the knowledge, understanding and skills in first aid in order to enable them to work safely, effectively and efficiently in the workplace this includes CPR, managing an unconscious casualty, assisting a casualty who is choking and wound management.
Delivery Method: Face-to-face session
Learning Hours: 1 day (7 hours of learning)
Prerequisites: Participants must be able to kneel on the floor and complete several cycles of CPR using a manakin.
Assessment details
The assessment for this course includes a 15 question multiple choice assessment to be completed at the end of the training in addition to practical demonstration assessments throughout the day.
Upon completion you will gain a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid in the Workplace. This is qualification is required in order to be a first aider at work.
