First Aid at Work – Refresher

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Refresher. This is qualification is required in order to be a first aider in the workplace where there are increased levels or risk.

This Highfield accredited refresher course allows participants to retrain for the qualification over two days providing that they have a valid & current certificate. Participants will refresh their skills to assist the recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace – which offers more in-depth knowledge, allowing the participant to conduct a full assessment and administer first aid for a wider range of injuries as well as major illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, stroke etc.

Delivery Method: Face-to-face session

Learning Hours: 2 days (12 hours of learning)

Cost: £270 (including VAT)

Prerequisites: Certificate must NOT be more than one month over the required 3 years. If this is the case learners should complete the 3 day FAW course. Learners must produce current certificate upon booking.

Who is it aimed at?

This is recommended for First Aid Responders working in larger organisations and/or organisations with more potential for a diverse range and severity of injuries due to the nature of activities on site (plant, construction etc.)

Assessment details

This course includes a 30-question multiple choice assessment to be completed at the end of the training in addition to practical demonstration assessments throughout each day. Upon completion of this qualification you will gain a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work.
